Many, many years ago Enrico invited some friends over for a Mexican dinner. He made Cacahuates con chili (hot peanuts), and served them as an appetizer. They were a hit! Friends couldn't get enough of Enrico's HOT nuts. Addiction led to production. He was selling them in zip lock bags with homemade labels. Deals were made in dark alleys and parking lots until Enrico was convince to go legit. Labels and bags were designed and purchased. Enrico's HOT Peanuts were ready to hit the shelves. In 1992 Enrico’s HOT Peanuts were being sold at many stores including O’so Savory in Toledo and Merchant of Vino in Ann Arbor and Detroit.
Since our beginning some 18 years ago the response to our products has been consistent. People love our product! “These are good!...Unique, flavorful...oh, there’s the heat!...how do I get more?” Why not combine the favorite flavors and health benefits of peanuts and the natural zesty flavor of spicy. Not too spicy, our nuts appeal to a large audience. Our HOT Peanut Butter is a very unique product. Enrico’s HOT Peanuts, chilies and all, are processed through a peanut butter machine and the result is a fresh hot spicy peanut butter. Yummy!
